Concierge Service Terms
Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
This page is informational. Concierge services are provided only under a signed engagement agreement, which controls if anything here differs.
Scope of Services
Services are limited to the scope written in the signed engagement agreement. Any work outside that scope requires a separate written amendment before it begins.
Nonclinical Only
Coastal Access Concierge provides nonclinical care navigation, advocacy, and coordination. It does not provide medical care, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or professional decisions of any kind. Decisions remain with the client, the client's family, and the appropriate licensed professionals.
No Handling of Money, Accounts, or Valuables
Coastal Access Concierge does not accept, hold, or disburse client funds, and does not manage bank accounts, investment accounts, or valuables. Third-party invoices are paid directly by the client or the client's authorized representative.
Transportation
Coastal Access Concierge does not transport clients. When transportation is needed, we coordinate a third-party provider and, on request, meet the client at the appointment.
Family Communication
Communication with family members, providers, or other third parties requires authorization from the client or the client's legal representative. Authorized contacts and the scope of information shared are documented in the engagement agreement.
Hours and Response Times
Coastal Access Concierge operates during defined business hours stated in the engagement agreement. Urgent nonemergency matters are triaged within the response times listed in that agreement.
Emergencies: Coastal Access Concierge is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911.
Retainer Engagements
The Advocacy Retainer is prepaid and billed against at the hourly rate stated in the engagement agreement. Retainer balances are valid for twelve months from the engagement date unless the signed agreement states otherwise.
Private Client Engagements
Private Client engagements are availability based and limited in number. Each Private Client engagement is priced individually in a written proposal and confirmed in a signed agreement.
Independent Providers
Coastal Access Concierge coordinates, communicates with, and oversees independent providers such as care companies, contractors, transportation, and equipment vendors. Those providers remain responsible for their own work, licensing, insurance, and warranties. Coastal Access Concierge does not guarantee the performance of independent providers.
Ending the Engagement
Either party may end the engagement in accordance with the signed agreement. Fees already earned through work performed remain payable.
Changes
These informational terms may be updated as the service evolves. The signed engagement agreement in effect for a client controls that client's engagement.
