Built locally, to protect the people you love.
Coastal Access Living is a woman-owned, Freeport-based company. We help families across Northwest Florida navigate aging, home safety, accessibility, and increasingly complicated care situations. Walton County is our home market and where the company started, and it is still where most of our hands-on work happens.

The people responsible for your experience.
Coastal Access Living is a small, local team. Families work directly with the people accountable for the work, not a call center.

April Gloy
Founder · CAPS-Certified · Freeport, FL
April brings more than fifteen years of facility and community social-work experience focused on older adults and their families. Her background includes skilled nursing, community resources, medical terminology, orthopedic recovery needs, and the practical support people may require after surgery or a change in mobility.
She founded Coastal Access Living to help families find safer ways to support independence at home. She is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS), a designation from the National Association of Home Builders focused on home modifications for safe, independent living.

Mark Gloy
Operations & Client Experience
Mark supports the business strategy, operations, systems, marketing, and client experience behind Coastal Access Living. His role is to help ensure communication is clear, follow-through is dependable, and the company continues to improve as it grows.
Together, April and Mark provide clients with direct access to the people responsible for their experience rather than passing families through a large organization.
The people who worked beside her
Before Coastal Access Living, April spent years inside skilled nursing and senior living facilities as a social services director, resident liaison, and care coordinator. These are excerpts from professional reference letters written by the nurses, therapists, and directors who worked with her.
April works very closely with the families of our residents, and addresses them with care and concern during some of the most difficult times of their lives.
She has the ability to quickly make patients and families feel supported in the most difficult of situations.
April's negotiating skills have been invaluable in dealing with difficult family dynamics as well as coordination of care with hospitals and insurance companies.
Quiet competence beats loud promises.
Stay home, safely
Most people want to stay in the home they love. We help make that realistic, not just possible.
Steady, not clinical
We are not a hospital. We are not a sales floor. We are a local team that shows up, listens, and helps.
Honest priorities
We tell you what matters now, what can wait, and what does not need to happen at all.
Local and accountable
Based in Freeport and serving families across Northwest Florida's Emerald Coast. We answer the phone and we keep showing up.
